And it is indeed, not only because the weather, wich seems to be like summer all year long, but also because the fabulous places to visit and all that great things to do and to see in all the state of Yucatan, one of the safest, nicest and, of course, hottest states of all Mexico!
Hopefully this site will be good enough to show you about Yucatan, the culture, the gastronomy and today life in the state. All from the eyes of an insider, a Yucatecan: Me! Let me share with you some pictures, and experiences of the everyday life here.

¡Hola a todos! Sean bienvenidos a este nuevo sitio web para descubrir porque ¡Yucatan está que arde!
Y lo está, de hecho, no solo por el clima, que parece ser como verano todo el año, sino también por los fabulosos lugares para visitar y todas esas cosas maravillosas para hacer y ver en todo el estado de Yucatán, uno de los más seguros, bonitos y, claro, !calientes estados de todo México!
Con suerte, este sitio será bueno para mostrarte un poco acerca de Yucatán, la cultura, la gastronomía y la vida actual en el estado. Todo desde el punto de vista de un residente, un Yucateco: ¡Yo! Permiteme compartirte algunas fotos y experiencias del día a día aqui.

Hallo ihr alle! Willkommen auf der neuen Webseite, wo du heraus finden kannst, warum Yucatan "hot" ist!
Und es ist dort nicht nur im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes wegen des alljährlich sommerlichen Wetters heiß, sondern auch wegen der fabelhaften Orte, die man besichtigen und der großartigen Dinge die man im ganzen Staat machen und sehen kann. Yucatan ist einer der sichersten, schönsten und natürlich heißesten Staaten Mexikos!
Hoffentlich wird dir diese Seite ein wenig Einblick über Yucatan, seine Kultur, die Gastromie und das heutige Leben im Staat geben. Und das alles aus dem Blickwinkel eines einheimischen "Yucateco": Mir! Ich möchte mit dir ein paar Fotos und Erfahrungen des alltäglichen Lebens hier teilen.

Salut tout le monde! Bienvenue sur ce nouveau site, qui va vous faire découvrir que le Yucatan est Hot!!
En effet, mais pas juste à cause des températures, qui nous font penser que c'est l'été à longueur d'année. C'est aussi, ces fabuleux endroits à visiter et toutes les supers activités à faire, les choses à voir, sur tout le Yucatan, un des plus joli, propre et, biensur chaud de tout les etats du Mexique!
Heureusement, ce site sera aussi la pour vous faire découvrir la culture, la gastronomie et la vie actuelle de l'état. Tout cela d'un oeil d'un yucateco: Moi ! Laissez moi partager quelques photos, expériences de la vie quotidienne ici.

Where is Yucatan?
Yucatan is at the southeast side of the United Mexican States (commonly know as Mexico); between Campeche, Quintana Roo and the Gulf of Mexico. Ok, just check the map below!
Due its geographical location, Yucatan was, in the early years, not so well communicated with the rest of the country, it was easier to get in touch with Spain trough Cuba than going to Mexico city. Thanks to this in Yucatan you can find "Trios" instead "Mariachis" and you can get some "X'tabentun" to drink instead of "Tequila". Of course, nowadays this things have changed and we are all mixed up now!
¿Dónde está Yucatán?
Yucatán está en la parte sureste de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos (comúnmente conocido como México); entre Campeche, Quintana Roo y el Golfo de México. Bueno, ¡solo mira el mapa de abajo!
Debido a su locación geográfica, Yucatán no estaba, en primeros años, muy bien comunicada con el resto del país, era más facil de estar en contacto con España a traves de Cuba que ir a la ciudad de México. Gracias a esto, en Yucatán se pueden encontrar "Trios" en vez de "Mariachis" y tomar un "X'tabentun" en vez de "Tequila". Claro, actualmente estas cosas han cambiado y ¡estamos todos mezclados ahora!
Wo ist Yucatan?
Yucatan liegt im Südosten der vereinigten mexikanischen Staaten (besser bekannt als Mexiko), zwischen Campeche, Quintana Roo und dem mexikanischen Golf. Ok, unten findet ihr die Landkarte!
Auf Grund seiner gegrafischen Lage hatte Yucatan anfänglich eine schlechte Kommunikation mit dem Rest des Landes und so war es zum Beispiel einfacher, den Kontakt mit Spanien über Kuba zu halten als nach Mexiko Stadt zu kommen. Dank dieser Tatsache kann man in Yucatan "Trios" statt "Mariachis" hören und "X'tabentun" statt "Tequila" trinken. Natürlich haben sich diese Dinge geändert und wir sind jetzt alle gut vermischt!

Yucatan est l'etat le plus au sud des etats unis du Mexique ( appelé communément Mexique), entre Campeche, Quintana Roo et le Golfe Du Mexique. Regardez la carte ci dessous!
Avec sa situation géographique, le Yutatan n'a pas toujours été relié au reste du pays, c'etait plus facile d'etre en contact avec l'Espagne a travers Cuba, plutot que Mexico.
C'est grace au yucatan que vous pouvre trouver des "Trios" au lieu des "Maricachis" et que vous pouvez commander à boire des "X'tabentun" au lieu des " Tequila". Bien sur, actuellement les choses ont évoluées, et vous pouvez trouver de tout!!!
